The same car, two points of view.
This two-photo study pairs a mint-green Volkswagen Beetle interior with its exterior. Inside, the wood-rimmed steering wheel and chrome details bring several materials into a compact composition. The Porsche crest on the wheel is a visible detail of this particular cabin, set against the dashboard and its pale green surroundings.
The exterior photograph steps back to show the Beetle from a front three-quarter angle. Curved bodywork gives the color a larger surface, while the view inside offers a more intimate arrangement of shapes. Placed together, the photographs connect the car’s outward form with the details encountered through its window. The change in distance gives both views a different role in the set.
