Eight frames of individual character.
These photographs bring several rat rods and weathered trucks into one study. A yellow grille and exposed front suspension open the set; a black open-top car follows with its axle and tires spread across the frame. Faded paint, rust-colored panels, and a large rear tire give the closer views their texture.
Other frames shift attention to a polished exposed engine, wrapped exhausts, red wheels, and whitewall tires. A club plaque, a decorated cabin, and a modified GMC front end add smaller, more individual details. The sequence works through contrasts: polished metal beside worn surfaces, open mechanical parts beside enclosed cabins, and details that make each photographed vehicle recognizable.
